New York, NY: Planet Random Comics is pleased to announce the launch of its latest graphic novel, Kid Impact. In celebration of the International Day of Peace, Kid Impact launched on September 21st, with a Kickstarter campaign to introduce a unique and relevant super hero.
Kid Impact creator, Raymond Ayala, explains, “Our hero is a young Christian Syrian who while fleeing persecution finds himself in a new warzone. Having already survived great tragedy as a refugee this young man is now compelled to face his greatest fears on a quest to reunite what is left of his family. This is a unique super hero adventure that reflects the plight of the refugee, deadly religious persecution and the ongoing conflicts in Syria and Gaza. Our goal is to raise awareness to persistent issues and inspire a message of peace through creativity.”
Not afraid to tackle tough topics, or demonstrate social responsibility, Planet Random Comics does so with award winning storytelling. The team has committed Kid Impact as a free educational & entertainment resource for peace building organizations internationally. The Kid Impact story is appropriate for fans aged ten and older with parental guidance.
The Kid Impact Campaign is live for a limited time and will extend through October providing comics, art and unique experiences to supporters. The Planet Random team invites you to join them and participate with millions of people around the world in celebrating the International Day of Peace.

About the International Day of Peace: The International Day of Peace is observed annually on September 21. The Day was established by the United Nations in 1981 and each year all nations are invited to honor a cessation of hostilities and strive for peace. This year’s theme is “Partnerships for Peace – Dignity for All.”
